APOLLO
Apollo was the god of many things: music, poetry, archery, and other arts. His twin sister was Artemis, and his parents were Leto, the female Titan, and one of the other gods, Zeus. They were born on a small island called Delos, but when they grew up, they lived on Mount Olympus. Mount Olympus was the place that was honored by the gods and goddesses. Apollo also had a younger half-brother, Hermes, the messenger god.
There were many things that Apollo was known for, but his archery skills had lots of importance. Zeus had multiple enemies, and so Apollo defended his father by using his archery skills.
Apollo values skill, music, archery, arts, and poetry. Beauty is another value having to do with arts, music, and poetry.
Believe it or not, Apollo became a fully grown god in just one day. Three days later, after he became a fully grown god, he used his talented archery skills to kill a giant serpent named Python. Fortunately, he succeeded, but ended up using 1000 arrows during the battle.
Apollo also became the god of music because there was a lyre that was from his younger half-brother, Hermes. He was also extremely familiar with the Nine Muses. The Nine Muses were the goddesses of arts and music, who were very inspirational.
